Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing high-quality care to seniors. This role involves managing care plans, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in a home care environment. The Registered Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive atmosphere for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
  • Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance and training as necessary to enhance their performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements pertaining to senior care.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to promote a community-oriented environment.
  • Conduct regular assessments of care services to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Maintain accurate records related to resident care, staffing, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing an assisted living or care home setting.
  • Strong understanding of senior care practices and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Experience in developing and managing care plans effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders.
  • A registered nurse qualification is desirable but not essential.
